Hello folks!

This is my last pen, fresh from the shed, an eyedropper made of alumilite with an ink window under the cap. Hidden O-rings here and there to avoid leaking. The clip is from Beaufort Ink:

Nearly 5 cl of ink inside, compared to 0.8 for a cartridge. Pages and pages of writing before tanking up...
This is my first ink window, or better said my first efficient one. Before I tried to make some with extruded pmma, it was very nice, looking like crushed ice after gluing, and it leaked slowly but surely:

This one is made of cast pmma, it makes a big difference, glass-like after polishing, and no leak:

C&c and questions are welcome...

Creamy swirls offset by that beautiful blue contrast, love the viewing window. Clean threading to a quality pen mate. Great to see you coming back with this pen and pictures. Are you enjoying the warmer weather?

Tribal quality in the pen, innovation and success.

What did you use for the white line at the end of the barrel?
Just plain white alumilite.

Great to see you coming back with this pen and pictures. Are you enjoying the warmer weather? Peter.
Thanks for you kind and friendly words Peter. Warmer weather? Did you say warmer weather? I suspect within six months, you'll have a much warmer weather than mine nowadays... Take care mate.

That is a beautiful piece of work. The contrast pieces at the top of the barrel are outstanding. I also like the nib you have selected it looks very elegant. Well done Pierre.

Very nice.
Everything through the colour choices to the width and length look to be well considered.

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen.

Yes Steve, it's done on a wood lathe. A metal lathe is not a necessity for kitless, it may help for some steps, but to properly shape a pen (got some thin CA? :tennis:), it is not the best tool.
