My Pen Sander

I bought quite a good pen sander but it was made for 7mm, so I copied it and made a couple larger ones for different size pens.

Had a brain fart one day and thought, I have a collet chuck,transfer punches and a metal lathe.
Turned this up on my lathe,

Cut some sand paper to size, double sided sticky tape on the back.

Used like this, what ever pen you make there is a tranfer punch to suit.

Found a top source the small disks Dremel used to sell in plastic boxes to use on things like your sanding device.

I did something similar to this but not having a metal lathe I turned a Morse taper out of some scrap, epoxied some corian on the end and reinforced with some hot glue (which you can turn with a skew by the way when hard). I attach some roughly cut out sticky backed sanding disks to it and it works a treat!
