Take a guess
Had a lovely day, but no less than I'd expect with such good company

No turning gear for me just some Moore & Wright steel rules & square & a couple of diamond stones.

I did get to see Woody's lovely Lucida swarf pen, I'll definitely be buying a few of those kits the next time I place an order with TB.

I'm looking forward to Harrogate now

Looking forward to going tomorrow. Just miffed I haven't got much lolly to spend. When I went last April I looked at all the pen kits they had on offer but I didn't know what I was looking at so I must have a really good look this time.

Sounds like you enjoyed yourself Woody good job I don't live near a shop like that. I only have Stile and bates and Axminster tools both of these are about 15min to 20 mins drive from me in opposite directions. Oh and 40 min drive to Home of Wood

One of my sons used to live about 5 min from Axminster Sittingbourne and my Mother lived in Birchington not far from Stiles & bates so a visit to them was always a visit to one or the other suppliers

I have a question Paul about doing craft fairs, have you ever had any trouble with pilfering?

Yes, ray, unfortunately there are a minority of low life scum that frequent some events. At one show I went to pikeys managed to lift a Honda motorbike off the stand and even managed to nick a lorry out of the show ground. I have lost pens at most types of events, from posh ladies nicking stuff at burghley international horse trials, to pikeys at steam rally and agricultural shows. Regardless of wealth, social standing, accent, or type of abode they are all low life but sadly they are all around us.
