These are going up for sale with all the money raised going to SSAFA

Going to make 12 pens / pairs & singles and all going to the Charity.
I have been very fortunate but a lot who come out of the forces aren’t so lucky, SSAFA offer a lot of support and help and a charity that I truely believe in and try and help.

I am afraid I have NO idea what the wood is, its some of the wood I have found when I had a clear / tidy up.
I need a Wood Expert to come and name all the bits of wood for me :winking:

Pens of pride for the best of reasons Colin, from pic 1 and 2 looks like some bog oak in there.

Exciting pens so well shown. Heartening to see the recipients.

Peter.

I have a couple of friends who do voluntary work for SSAFA, so I know a little of the great things that organisation achieves - with much less popular press coverage than other charities such as H4H. Two great looking pens for a very worthy cause.

They helped an old friend of mine that when discharged went through a very rough time (I didn’t know about it) SSAFA and the amazing volunteers helped him and supported him when he needed it the most.
Can not praise the work they do enough

My offering (so to speak) is just my way of helping what I think is a great charity.

Oh and the two pens in the original post have been sold and the first £50 donation has gone to the Just Giving Page I set up :thumbs:
