One of the possibles I showed recently from the shoe box. I misremembered thinking South Australian, then South Africa, then South America Dalbergia. As I turned it opened up. Thrilled with grain and colour in the pen.

You have been busy of late.....the timber is getting better and better too......that's a stunning piece of wood there....lovely turning too with your characteristic shapes :drool::drool:
