Another attempt at a kitless fountain pen. This one is ebonite - foul stuff to turn I think - hard and smelly! Nib and feed from Bock with a Schmidt convertor. The clip/roll-stopper is sterling silver, made specially by a contact who is a silversmith.

Now that is what we call an high end pen..

Top marks it looks superb, well made, nice design and the clip looks spot on and really really nice.:thumbs:

I know the Ebonite doesn't smell very nice but it sure does make a superb pen.

Is the clip glued in?

Yes! The type of glue needs consideration. The clip started life as an intended roll stopper. I found that it also acts quite well as a clip. If I did another one I would either ask for a second mounting pin to make it just a roll stopper - or I would rethink the mounting as a clip. Just a bit of design work needed - but that's what this is all about, isn't it? My contact would be quite happy to work at modifications to the basic idea.
