I was contacted by a gent on an Australian website asking for help at finding a wood supplier in Essex. Because of the type of wood he was after I was able to help sort him out and I sent the wood he was after which was Laburnum, plus I put some extra like some Lignum vitae as well as three pen blanks which I had made.

In return for this he sent me this little lot to say I am pleased is putting it mildly

Now all I need to do is make some pens and possibly a small bowl from the larger burl

What is a Herus?šŸ˜‡
I keep thinking about it, between being too lazy, too buggered, working on the house, waiting for things to arrive, sick etc etc.
I have 7 days off I had a lot of plans, spent hours looking for parts for a project when I gave up, found them the next day.šŸ¤¬
At the moment flat out trying to finish the house, the local hardware store is closing down end of January, nearest ha is 500 km down the road.
Went to get some paint the other day I asked the manager what happened he said he had just got back from holidays that day and fou out when he got back.
