Overkill or not

I have managed to turn some of the pens I had prepared a little while ago(I will post when completed) anyway I have always used a clamp to assemble them in the distant past. Do you think I have over done how I assemble them now, it is a 3 ton press:funny::funny::funny:

I use a smaller 1 ton press, with a leather buffer on the ram to stop any marking of parts....its never overkill if you have the space :winking:

Set up for photo, I do use padding. It is a case of I have this for metal working, so why not make use of it. Mind you it is bl**dy heavy
