There used to be one in our resources file, I think from Les Elm, but I have checked and it's not there. I don't think it was migrated over when the system was upgraded....
I have done a few bullet case pens, if I can help I will, what did you want to know??

Flexi.

I note you use PU glue . Do you fill the case effectively buy adding a bit so it foams through? I just wondered if you’ve ever had a case move due to the tape ?

Since I have used this method, I haven't had a case move. The glue is on the brass tube not the tape, that's just to ensure a snug fit in the case neck No I don't fill the case, just glue on the tube in the case neck...

That’s a shame as his .50 calibre pens were some of the best I’ve seen, better than commercial offerings.

Agreed. I looked at some of the .50 calibre bullets available in the USA and Canada and some of them looked much nicer than the plain copper jacketed versions you normally see.

I dont understand what the tape is for . If you are going to re seat the bullet after drilling what is the purpose of tape.

If anyone else fancies having a go at this I have lots of .308 and .303 once fired used cases and a quantity of .308 and .303 bullets available for purchase.
The cases are once fired at £10.00 a hundred plus postage.
The bullets are brand new and prices are depending on the make.
I also have 50 Caliber cases and various other calibers available.

One case, I use a real bullet (nib) and drill the primer pocket to take the transmission (no pen tube)
The other case (top tube) I use a 7mm pen tube...the tape is to take up the slack between the tube (7mm) and cartridge mouth (7.62mm)...I then cut a slot in the tape so I can glue the tube to the cartridge mouth.
I don't glue or fix the tube at the primer pocket....1000s done and no fails yet..
I have seen people braise or solder the tubes in, I have bought brass bushes to set the tubes in the case mouths and use CA...many other methods...this is just mine
