I have walked these trenches and Memorials,tremendous meaning for me an ex Soldier. Given me today,Christmas day by our 2nd daughter/husband,promoted by Legacy in this country.

Not the best photo, but here are 5 Alpha's. I'm only certain of the wood on the 2nd and 3rd from the left which are 2nd Brown Oak 3rd Spalted Beech. 4th might be Padauk, 5th might be Purpleheart. 1st one is brown. Finished with Melamine Lacquer.
Its August Bank Holiday weekend and here I am making Christmas decorations for the issue of Woodturning mag that will be on sale on 2nd November. Strange old world.
A big thank you to Phil for my 2nd. place prize from the December Competition. It came today and I look forward to making them up as soon as I am able.

This is the same dish with the old picture removed and anew one added made a small change with the mod podge instead of just putting it were the picture goes I put it all over to avoid the colour change gust being around the photo it has had 3 coats of lacquer and I'm quite happy with it for 2nd...
