Looks like TM has ceased sell and to restock the Alpha pen kits. The picture and page to that kit is no long available. Nothing on his site to why they are no longer there.

Not turned a pen for a year and half, here's an Alpha dressed in one of my own castings, apologies for the photos, these were taken quickly with the phone
all the best
Andy
I turned this one for me it's a fountain pen. I don't normally post pictures because my photography skills are nil.
It's a TM Alpha kit with a Pam Harris blank.
Dan’s alpha kit (Taylor Mirfield) in several plating combinations has been out of stock for a while. Does anyone know the kit that it was copied from? I need to get some of the kits reasonably quickly and need to seek them from elsewhere.
This week's pen of the Week is chosen by Terry Q and goes to the Alpha Pine Cone by Bammer
Terry said "I have loved the look of pine cone blanks since I saw the first one used on a pen. These blanks paired up with the 2 gun metal kits is a perfect match. The Alpha is my favorite of the two...
Evening All,
Knocked these up today in a very cold workshop.
Sierra kit came from penkits and is in carbon fibre. The omega and alpha came from Taylors Mirfield. Both in bloodwood.
Another TM Alpha in a "Fiji" blank finished with Melamine. Really having trouble getting a satisfactory finish though - the images don't really show the problem. The wood is fine but the Alumilite is just not quite right, inconsistent "shine"
Maybe I'm over-working it :thinks:
I recently turned a couple of TM alphas as gifts and I now have an enquiry from someone looking to order one.
I was wondering what the consensus is on an appropriate retail price? The Alpha kit is £11, pen blank say £3, overheads say £3, Time say 2 hours @ £25? Total : £ 67.
Does that sound...
This mornings effort another Alpha RB in Rhodium with black titanium, this time dressed in another Mervyn Cadman blank, his black to white (Guinness)
Mervyn's blanks are a real joy to turn and the kit from Dan at TM, excellent.
Todays effort a Rhodium Alpha rollerball dressed in an acrylic black to blue, the pen is black at the bottom & blue at the top with a subtle changing of the colour along the length of the pen, unfortunately the photos don't catch it that well. Blank by Mervyn Cadman
