Turned today a lump of Portuguese Goncalo Alves Some times referred to as Tiger wood it made a very attractive fruit / salad bowl I purchased this piece from an old friend about a year ago he has gven up wood turning in his 90s and I want to do him proud.
Finished with a few coats sanding...
I think I have sorted out the drilling on my Omega blanks now. So to celebrate, today I have turned an Omega in Goncalo Alves hardwood. For my second ever Omega, I am please with this one!
