Made this as well this morning a beautiful piece of red acrylic on a Atrax ballpoint pen the customer loved it

I’m not overly fond of the plating on many kits so have any of you seen any stainless steel kits out there? I’m thinking of a one piece twist ballpoint but open to other suggestions.

Made these a few months back for a friend whose daughter was getting married. A Mistral rollerball and ballpoint and together in the presentation box. The tartan is Orkney Heather.

A gold Mistral ballpoint in a mallee burr hybrid blank from George Watkins, usual sanding sealer then finished with melamine.

Just finishes my first Beaufort Kit - Its a Mistral Ballpoint gold in African Blackwood finished in Melamine Gloss Lacquer burnished with Meguiars fine finishing compound. Really lovely kit of nice quality - think I will try the fountain pen next. (Not sure why my images are coming in upside down?)

A Mistral Ballpoint for Beaufort Ink in a Red Box burr/Iridescent black hybrid blank from "George Watkins at "From the Tree". Sanded to 600, cellulose sealer and 5 coats of Melamine, then buffed.

A Beaufort Mistral ballpoint in a "From the Tree" mallee/acrylic hybrid blank. Finished in cellulose sanding sealer and Melamine. Much prefer finishing with this than CA and hopefully I won't be going back to it.

Hi guys, As we all know, Phil from Beaufort Ink has been developing his new ball point and pencil kit. I was given the pleasure of turning the ballpoint pre-development kit this week. As no pen bushing are available yet, this pen was turned on nylon cones I made myself, out of 20 mm white HDPE...

Seems an age since i made a ballpoint .. A couple of Epsilons, the top one is made with Black Sasafrass and the cross is made with Pau Amarelo and red plastic ..
