I'm not a dinosaur and I do like to be in with the trends, but I have never really been a fan of tct turning chisels. I bought a square mini one from Easy turn years ago used it a couple of times and went 'Nah' don't get me wrong I know how to sharpen a skew or gouge so I'm not looking...
If you make a slimline pen (for example) and put it up for sale on a website do you have to call it a "Slimline"? or can you call it anything you want?

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I wonder what presentation boxes people use for their "nicer" pens - especially fountain and roller-ball pens?
After a trawl around the major UK suppliers, I am really stuck for a nice box to hold the pair of Mistrals I made. A call to one left me...
Just finished the first one for a friend. Next one is with a red hat. I'm pleased how it's turned out. Must give him a name now. I think I'll call him Elmer.
Had an odd bit of wood I think it's Yew not sure it was very hard, had to keep sharpening my tools as I turned it and put it on an Oak base.Not sure what you may call it. Wife took one look and claimed it :thumbs:
I ordered a couple of bits from Exotic....i have been following on track and trace.....5 days in the US its now been 12 in the UK. Bloody Parcel Force....its spent 6 days at Coventry in customs.....ok not to bad....but then they posted 'held at depot awaiting payment of customs charge' again...
