Good afternoon on this Christmas day and I hope Santa has been generous to you this year.
Santa gave me a lovely Canon SX730 HS Camera this year, no idea how he knew I wanted a camera but somehow he did :thinks:
Now I just don't know if I should be angry or just annoyed with Canon, Firstly...
I always used to call the laser cutter at the school I worked in as the " No talent machine" as it was constantly used for stuff that should be easily accomplished by hand with a bit of practice. I'm still getting to grips with the one I have but I'm sure I couldn't have reproduced the pissy...
Never turned Elm before. Here is the latest effort. Roman ogee bottem with a slightly concaved top. A simple style but I liked the grain.

hopefully you will be able to help here, this is my latest pen but the black acrylic at the tip has a sheen to half of it, hard to show in the pictures but the camera flash showed it up best. 1 half is jet black and the other has a crazing to it, is it the "iridescence"...
