I think there has been an explosion in my workshop or someone has thrown all of their shavings in there. It is totally chocking and I am in total shock. It is not on now I will have to clean up:whistling::whistling::whistling:
I bought this before I discovered my dislike of turning acrylic and offer it now f o c to someone who will make more use of it than I did ( never been used )
This is the first of some of the odd jobs that need doing around the workshop.
I was given this vice and thought that before I find a home for it that a little cleanup and repaint was in order.

A green Oak bowl 7" x 3". The tree was only felled last week. The tools went black as did the toolrest, bed, jaws, and my hands. :funny:
Took longer to clean everything than it took to turn! It will be interesting to see how it moves.

so without having to buy six products and spend five hours with them..
What's the simplist / best way to get a nice clean finish maybe even with a shine ?
