I turned a Leveche rollerball using a Brown Mallee Burr blank. I used epoxy to glue the blank to the tube and after bringing into the house for a couple of days cracks appeared along some of the burr lines. I finished it using Phil's melamine technique.
Any advice to prevent this much...
Hi All,
Sirocco in Olive wood and Premo clay used for the Celtic Knot. Lost a little bit of clay but it turned out ok with a CA and sawdust fill.
The wood had a lot of cracks as I got close to the finished size. It will all hold together with the CA finish.:thumbs:

Another experiment that went wrong but the wife liked it so I completed it. As you can see the paint shrank back leaving what appears to be cracks. Somehow the more I look at it the more I like it. It is 10 1/2" X 2" and I believe it is lime.
Do you really like the paint job be honest guys

Doki oki, here I was turning some leadwood for the omega's attached and all was well. Process to get me there was pretty normal.
