Hi all, A bit of a quick one, Customer wanted red and blue.... Well it started dark blue!! I am really liking these Headwind kits too... Cheers Phil!

You never quite know how these blanks will turn out, this was a stabilised blue maple burl that was very very dark before I started turning it, only for it to change massively on the finished pen. Regards Padster

All, I've been trying to cast some snakeskin. The main issue is that using CA or Elmers turns the skin dark. See photos. The other issue is air bubbles. Even thou I'm pressure potting them at 50psi. Any ideas?

I have been selling a fair bit of this blank so thought it was worth a turn. Came up beautifully with a hint of pink shimmer thrown in to the mix. Its on a retro kit and although the bog oak looks very dark in the pictures is actually rather dark in real life too :funny:

Hi all a real mix up on this.....the blank was made by real card expert Patterson Grant with wire and armour plates by my friend Mik Lawrence....I thought black would be too dark in totality so softened it with a chrome nib and cap,(2 kits...strange I have another kit like this too now)....:rolling:

Our Grandson living in Tasmania was recently in Japan ,on returning he sent us a few keepsakes we value highly. Questioned him on the phone did he like light or dark timber (he chose dark). So here is our thanks in the form of Buckeye Burl always splendid and manageable (weighs like Balsa Wood)...

Some new colors I'm working on and I needed some inventory for a craft show I'm doing next month. Thankfully I had a stash of Sirocco kits around :) The black and blue is fun... Blue glow in the dark powder in that one. I am mildly partial to the metallic blue and purple though.

My desktop monitor went black. When I switch it off then on again I can see the screen for a couple of seconds very dark then it goes dark again. I guess it means its stuffed? I have been looking on the internet for a new one, does any one have a recomendation. What is this one like? LG...
