    What’s this hole for?

Hi question to the assembled Woodturning Guru’s. I have never noticed this little hole on the toolrest before...? What on earth is it for? Can anyone see the photo? Is in preview but does not seem to be there when posted?? Kevin:banana:

    Blue-Dyed Tempest

Another driftwood pen with blue dye. There were a couple of inclusions which I filled with aluminium, and the finished pen looks a bit like Earth from space :thinks: Used iPhone for photos and couldn't get a nice exposure
