    A rollerball kind of day

    Well todays effort turned out to be mostly a rollerball kind of day. Four slims from a wine barrel. Left to right for the rollerballs are Ash, Mulberry, spalted lacewood burr, brown oak, English bog oak, olive wood, Elm and Yew. A Conway Stewart blank for a custom fountain pen for me, Size 6...

    Different pricing and different quality

    Since I have been turning pens and the odd bowl or 2 I have noticed that sometimes there is huge difference in prices for what looks like the same item. People don't appreciate the time and skill that goes into turning things that are hand made. The time, effort and the materials used to finish...
