Here's one that gives me a lot of work. 4 attempts before ending the cap, very hard to cut. Wood exploded three times while turning the blank down.
But i'm really satisfied how it came out.
I have had my kits for awhile now but getting granddaughter requests for Christmas has taken up my time. Today I finished these 2. I had 1 more glued up for a chrome kit but it exploded while turning. Both are Buckeye. Very different looking blanks. CA finish.
My first two of the three castings I did over the weekend turned and made up. Unfortunately I had a bad snatch on the black glitter one and it exploded ; at least it didn't cost me £7.99 like the last black/glitter one did .
