Another TM Alpha in a "Fiji" blank finished with Melamine. Really having trouble getting a satisfactory finish though - the images don't really show the problem. The wood is fine but the Alumilite is just not quite right, inconsistent "shine"

Blank is "Fiji" from Axminster. The photo's are not terribly good and don't show the finish well. I'm happy with the "burr" but the Alumilite not so sure :thinks:
