    Hi all, Relatively new turner just 6 months into my turning journey. Have done both wooden and acrylic pens, slimline through to fountain pens and really enjoy doing them. Just wish you didn't have to faff about gluing tubes in things. Next step is to try an aluminium pen - have the blanks...

    Thin Blue Line

    Folks Friend of mine is a copper and I want to make him a pen to celebrate a change of role. I want to put a "thin blue line" down the centre of the blank, probably by cutting a wooden blank in half and gluing something in there. My question is, what can I use to create the blue line? TiA! Coll

    Gorilla Glue for gluing tubes.

    Has anyone used this Gorilla Glue stuff for gluing tubes in blanks ? Bought some today because Toolstation no longer stock my favorite Evo Stick epoxy resin. On reading the instructions it says that you have to moisten the item your gluing and that the glue swells to 3 to 4 times its volume...
