Had a good day today and finished all the pens my work colleagues asked me to make. The golfers pen is turned using hickory from an old golf club. The FAT slimline is spalted beech and the medical one is unknown to me?????

Didn't want to hijack Coll's post so started a new one. These blanks have been made for a couple months but didn't turn them until today. I have another dozen to finish. One is Hickory and the other Maple. Both with blue dyed poplar veneer.
I thought I would see what a serpentine pen with just blue or red veneer would look like. I like the way they turned out. The blank is Hickory with CA finish. The kits were purchased from WoodTurningz. Slimline Pen Kit: Color Bonus! - WoodTurningz
