    Disappointing Year

    Has anyone else been disappointed with selling pens at Craft Fairs this year, my takings now compared with last year is 52% down. Talking to other stall holders everyone seem to be suffering. Glen:sob:

    Hi Anyone know what the wood is? It’s all tree wood to me unless it’s got a sticker on it.. :thinks: .I know you need better photos and details of the end grain .... might take it to our club tomorrow with some the the off cuts see if anyone knows..     Had a go at turning some ring holders today. No finish on them yet. Have to do something tomorrow.:ciggrin: Maple with African Blackwood, Walnut with Maple, Walnut with Bubinga, Mahogany with Maple, Cedar. 3 1/2 inchs tall except the Cedar. The "flames" are glued in place.
