    Lignum vitae

    This timber has been listed on the Cities restricted list like many timbers treated this way these days.It turns,belieing its reputation as the heaviest and hardest of timbers. My first pen of Lignum was a scrap from a Ships bearing supporting the drive shaft after forty years. Peter.

    I have a nice piece of genuine Lignum Vitae given to me by an old friend many years ago. Not sure if to cut it for pens or if it is worth more in a larger piece?
