    Granted mine isn't pretty like Ali and it's a fella but he does occasionally drop off a few lumps of timber. This spalted beech appeared today.

    For those of you who are saying " a Spurtle what the fk is that" it is a peculiar Scottish stirring stick, used for making porridge, my wife makes great porridge no lumps nothing just lovely smooth porridge, and she tells me if she stirred it with anything other than a " Spurtle" it Would have...
