    This is a pen I entered in a "pretty wood" contest. There were MANY pens. I didn't win but I made it through 3 rounds. Buckeye on a magnetic Graduate, CA finish. This pen looks a lot better in person.

    Magnetic Tool Rest

    I've been having a few turning issues recently and it's more noticeable with fine work like pen making. I thought it was me then realised that the problem is with the tool rest. My tools are sticking too it slightly as it seems to be magnetised. I have another tool rest and that's fine...but...
