Are there any out there that folks can recommend? Nothing too pricey but I don’t want cheap either! I want something quick and easy. Blank will likely be some nice Yew if it makes a difference.

A friend of mine from a bit further up North turns wood despite being registered as blind. He makes stuff and fundraises for a brilliant charity Blind Veterans UK - Rebuilding Lives After Sight Loss
Thank you Bill Mooney!
Melamine users - do any of you thin it down and find it reduces the fumes?
I like the finish, I'm happy with how to use it... But even with a good mask and using it outside for the best ventilation I can get, it makes me feel sick and headachey as soon as I get the lid off.

I’m back tinkering in the garage. Knocked out a biscuit tin guitar. I can’t play it I just thought I’d see if I could make one. It makes a sound now I need to find someone to tune and evaluate it.

Learned a few things along the way, hoping the next one will be a bit better looking
I really like this kit. Very smooth operation with a refill that makes for effortless writing. A Cherry serpentine and something I got from ExoticBlanks for a Harley Davidson fan. Finally stabilized cross cut Plum.
Well today see our 33rd wedding anniversary and I am still here to keep counting them. I have had many happy times with my good lady and luckily not that many bad which makes it special. Now to see if I can get another 33 hiding in the shed playing with...
I made a PSI sketch pencil for my Granddaughter to take to her new school for art lessons. I was surprised that you have to CA the plunger in, which makes it difficult or near impossible to strip the pen down again.
