Does anyone have experience with cigar pen kits.
I have bought a number of them over the years, from a couple of different UK suppliers and by and large I have had the same problem with them.
I find that the transmission mechanism is unlike a ballpoint mechanism that turns to a certain point...

I ordered a couple of kits, have made one up. It's a lovely looking pen, save for the white marks, which are my fault.
But the mechanism keeps sticking. Should steer clear of click mechanism pens I guess....

I make a lot of the celtic pen kits and more than a few times the twist mechanism doesn't wok. it just keeps on turning so doesnt move the refill in and out. Does anyone know a fix for this or anywhere you can buy spares. I think the same mechanism is used in the zeta pen kits.
