For those of you that use CA as a finish do you use the thin or the medium type?
I only ask this as applying the 5 coats of thin yesterday to a pen seemed easier than when I have attempted (and mostly failed) to use the medium.

This is my first ever stabilised blank, so I went for a Buckeye. It turned a treat, and I filled the gaps with medium CA and sawdust before finishing with a friction polish.
I'm chuffed with this pen!

These are not as easy as they look as can be seen below..i have oversanded the rose and now the leaf shows through...these are wafer thin and i used a thick super glue not my normal medium and its all gone a bit ti$s up:sob::sob:
