I won’t be buying one myself as I don’t need it but it’s not cheap is it. I highly rate my old SK100 but prices have gone up hugely since I bought mine.
There have been a few pens here recently using local timbers, so here's mine.
Elm mostly, with some segmention ( for a change ) using Ash and Elm.

Hi all,
I saw this on FB and it made me think.... So I ll share it on here...please post a picture of your favorite pen, just to inspire others....
Mine is below, I saw this years ago on here and one day I will have a go at recreating it!!
Was over the moon when a mate of mine a way back said can you use this. It took all my strength to move it to mine and fit it to the big drill I picked up from a garage sale that turned out to belong to my mate. I gave my other drill and various XY axis vices etc to a worthy mens shed.
Peter.
Started this thread again as the first one didn't want to up-load pics for some reason.

Mine is still the same.
Jenga anyone..:rolling:

Hi all,
There is a special exercise we have here in France since tree centuries or so, that is turning a piece of wood as long as possible, with a very thin "hair" and some bigger motives or "masses". We call it a "trembleur", a shivering piece. I wonder if there is a word in English for that...
Don't laugh...:funny:
