A matching pair of Beaufort Mistrals, fountain pen and ballpoint, made from reclaimed whisky cask from the Glenlivet distillery, finished with melamine.

I haven't posted here in a while, but here a few of my recent works.

I made one Mistral yesterday and had the second to do today well now they are a pair so two Mistrals in Mailee burr blanks One rollerball and the other fountain pen.

Firstly thanks to Eamonn for the box but what's inside? Two Mistrals. One FP and one RB. Turned in bloodwood which really isn't as red as I was hoping but still looks lovely!

These Mistrals were donated by Phil Dart as part of the Royal pens. The first pen is dressed in Spalted Silver Birch. The second pen is dressed in Purple Yew with sapwood donated by Mike Kennedy. They are both finished in acrylic lacquer & buffed with Farecla 300 & 500.
