I have been playing with the idea of casting a pen blank which has a nebula effect. I believe these are the "in thing" at the moment. I have enjoyed various levels of success but none that I would call stunning.

A Tempest dressed in Lavender pearl.
I make a lot of these for many of my wife's friends. Purple is the associated color of the dementia groups of which my wife is an ambassador for.
This particular blank is the best yet for color variation.
This is an Executive stylus in gunmetal. The blank is a Woodshed called Mysterious. Not too sure about the blank. I was expecting more pearl and depth.
Another colourway of my first batch of Pearl Ex blanks, this one on a Traditional roller ball. I experimented with gold glitter in the black Pearl Ex which can be seen in the blank but it doesn't show up well in the picture of finished pen but it does show up well in real life.
Had a play today with the blanks I made yesterday one steampunk one with plastic drilling swarf for the veterans one with the Queen's stamps for Violet and two different pearl blanks from my stock that a teller in the bank ordered
This is a Glacia (Epsilon in the UK) pen in gold, with a gorgeous Kirinite Magenta Pearl blank. It's for my nephew's girlfriend's daughter. What young girl doesn't like a pink pen?

This is my newest made Fountain Pen.
It´s made of Mother of Pearl acrylic and ivory coloured "Juma" for the section.
The #5 gold plated Bock nib is medium
and i made the barrel with a blind cap to load the converter
