Came across some wood called London Plane, I had never heard of it before but then I don't really know much about wood species anyway lol Hoping these will produce some interesting looking pens, crosscut as usual lol Has anyone machined this wood before ? A google search gave me some more...

One of the latest bowls i've turned a few days ago. 30 cm dia and 8 cm high. Finished with foodsafe oil.

My first piece of proper turning for a while I spent just under an hour in there and it was cool enough to go into the shed this morning so decided to turn one of my London Plane blanks that I have the finished bowl is 8 3/4" X 1 3/4"
