Made a few pens today as fundraisers 5 Poppy 1 WWl war poem 1 Lancashire bomber and the spirit of its crew, 1 Royal Marine veterans badge, 1 war poster which some of the old folk on here will remember lol and 1 onion flag
Gold Fountain Leveche. This is a DiamondCast blank that is purple and clear - I left the brass tubes showng - the gold color coming through the turned blank seemed to work nicely with the gold hardware.
Another challenging Kenneth Wines puzzle blank with 6 coats of MINWAX Clear Satin Polyurethane using my Dipping Method.
Dressed it up with a Canadian Maple Leaf series Antique Silver Sierra.

I'm not much good at photography but my neighbour is. She normally takes wildlife photos but recently got herself a lighting setup and as practice for herself offered to photograph some of my pens.

I make a lot of these for many of my wife's friends. Purple is the associated color of the dementia groups of which my wife is an ambassador for.
This particular blank is the best yet for color variation.
Made these a few months back for a friend whose daughter was getting married.
