    Conkerberry

It is just after lunch time Saturday here and I just did a series of 21 pics in 10 minutes of how I obtain my pics and post them on forums. I took the pics hand wobbly held from behind the set up using camera and camera flash with the set up lights on. Apologies for the dust on the copier paper...

    Honest answers only!!

Well, I was asked to do an emblem pen as below. Scott Walker ( Mr Resin....Sawes) cast a few for me. Now my dilemma..... If I use a white blank for the bottom will it look wrong/ cheap/ tacky. I have used a piece of maple and TBH really like it. ( No wrong answers, just opinions)

    oak slimline

A slimline pen dressed in xcut old English Oak given to me by my mate Basil. It was buried in the stone wall of his cottage & has been there for 200-250 years & was probably 350+ 450 years olds when the tree was felled. It has a beautiful deep colour, hard as the hobs but nice to turn.

    Hms vivtory

HMS VICTORY This is something very, very special. This pen is actually made using Oak from Admiral Lord Nelson's ship: HMS Victory. This is the ship Nelson was aboard during the battle of Trafalgar in 1805. I believe this to be very Special and managed to get the wood

I got very bored by the end!!

Both literally and figuratively, I got very bored making the same thing over and over again. 51 short sections and 51 long sections plus 7 sets that broke on the tubes for a variety of reasons, now I know why I hate production work. The contract was for 50 Tempests in Chrome with mixed woods...
