    Then & Now

    After years of faffing about doing other things & becoming a 24/7 carer I decided to upgrade Then Now And the New Charnwood is quieter than the old Cool Tool toy lathe! Kits & wood for pens / bowls etc. all on order :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

    Noise

    I want to reduce the noise in my workshop before my filings all drop out. Most of the noise comes from the dust extractor so I'm thinking of getting a cam vac because apparently, these can be made quieter via an exhaust silencer. Does anybody have any experience regarding cam vac sound levels...
