    To much rain

    Huge storm yesterday. Over 8" of rain in a 6 hour time frame. Creek behind the house over flowed its banks. 2" of water in my basement that backed up through the floor drain. My vegetable patch is probably done now as it's saturated with chemicals washed out of the farm fields. 3rd time...

    Yellow box street tree

    Recently someone made a Pen from Yellow Box, this a heavily pruned back 8 doors down my street,it has just recovered after rain. Not really a street tree they get real invasive huge roots,fantastic firewood.Promised a pic of a tree. Peter.:thumbs:
