    Not so much a bowl ...

    .. a dish American Oak, finished with Yorkshire grit, standard & microfine. A it was a 'coaster' blank I tried a hot glue chuck for the first time so I could cut a small recess, 1st thing larger than a pen in 40 years, top & bottom views

    Help with remounting a bowl

    I have been given a bowl by a friend who's uncle had started turning it and then sadly passed away so Ive been asked if I can finish it. Problem is Im not sure how best to remount it on the lathe? The bowl is mahogany (heavy) and is approx 12" diameter. There has been a shallow recess cut in...
