After all this time I have just noticed that I am holding my chisel wrong in my avatar. The rear of the chisel is lower than the front :rolling:

2 Mallee burr hybrid Mistral ballpoints to finish a commission, 1 blue and the other purple. First time using a new light tent, need to get a smaller prop for holding them in position and stop them rolling about!!!

Well I managed to get some time in the workshop today with allot of intentions of turning. This was the result of my days work, well if you can call 12:00 to 16:00 with plenty of sit down breaks..:rolling: I had originally planned to do some slimlines just to ease myself back in to the fold...

My pair of matching Mistrals, fountain pen and roller-ball dressed in Conway Stewart Bracket Brown. I was really "brickin-it" when preparing/turning/finishing/assembling, and all for no reason because they turned out ok in the end I think :rolling: The quality of the kit is, as expected...

Any one made rolling pins if so what diameter is best or will it be a case of going down to the local shop that sells them and measuring. I am thinking of doing I believe to be the French style where the ends tape and also the traditional ones used here

I was wondering which glues people are using for their segmenting work? I want to segment wood, acrylic and possibly metal. I've tried CA, but managed to stick more of myself than the blank! :rolling:
