    Well....we all start on slims and we all think we graduate to "better" pens.....I fought long and hard on one of these the other Maple came off in ribbons, like acrylic...lol Both finished in melamine:whistling::whistling:

    plastic and slims.

    Using red white and blue plastic and three Slims, I had a bit of fun segmenting with Olive, Beech and I don't know what. All were finished with ca. The photos do not show the deep gloss on them.

    Trying to improve the look of my slims

    I have been thinking of making better looking 7mm pens for some time. But how to make them nicer? Or at least more controlled? I thought that getting rid of most of the parts - or to make them instead of using the metal stuff - was a good way to go. Let's start from the beginning. Of course...
