Had a play with these three pens all dressed in the same blank but sprayed the tubes different colours good init

A very plain piece of Lime 7 1/4" x 2 1/2" sprayed black then whilst still wet sprayed with "Silly string", then sprayed with copper to the point of running. Silly string removed once dry. The texture on top was formed with bead boring drills.

Loving how this Ares has come out. Wenge turned to shape and sanded, then used a wire brush to open the grain. Sprayed with white paint and then sanded again before adding melamine finish.

Just sprayed with Lacquer and yet to decide on a base. Turned on 3 centres. Turkey Oak stained red with an Ebony button. Ash veneer, Sycamore, and a twig sprayed green for the stem and leaf.

Ive used many cans of Chestnut Melamine Lacquer (Aerosol) sprayed over Cellulose Sanding Sealer and have had great results but today I opened a new can and sprayed to find: 1. The lacquer didnt dry as quickly as normal 2. As the lacquer dried it formed lots of tiny air bubbles leaving a rough...
