This time an oil stock finish, yes it dries hard, yes it's durable, no its bloody slow... 6 coats applied and very smooth but it's a coat a day before leaving the workshop!

Hi all, a good friend messaged me to tell me some bad news, one of his good customers had damaged his Perazzi shotgun stock and wondered if I would like it.... Heck yeah!!

The tail stock moves no matter how tight you get it and you need a spanner to do that as the plastic handles slip.

First of all i will wish a very happy and wonderfull new year to everybody on this forum.
I was ask by a friend of mine for a special bowl, i found this piece of wood in my wood stock and give it a try.
Here's what cames from the lathe... finished with Lemon oil from Chestnut, width...
Ok got my drill chuck for my tail stock, so fixed the lathe up with drill chucks in head and tail stock and got spinning
The bullets are 180grn Sierra Matchking and the cases are .308 Sako, and then its just drilling and fettling and here is the result
