Well I am back at a proper lathe now.
Here we have two stopped end Omega's I have made with the use of a pin chuck. The stabalised spalted Walnut came from Mark Lewin and just ooses character. The other Mauser Birch came from Phil Dart and was a pleasure...
Sorting out firewood and keep getting distracted!
Found a bit of Hawthorn yesterday and made this 5" at the round by 3" bowl.
Today I found a bit of Berberis and stopped sorting again! (5" x 2 1/2")
Will this chore ever end?
I turned my lathe on for the first time in a looooooong time, the spindle move about 1/8 of a turn and stopped.
Checked the plug was in properly, the inverter showed it was doing 2300 rpm's, fight my way through the dust and cobwebs and open the door where the motor is, the belt was off...
