    ACACIA Waddywood

    Only 1000 of these trees indigenous to Australia from a 200 yr old fallen tree. Heartwood is reddish love the contrast with sapwood very hard to get as well,strong heavy timber from the edges of the Simpson Desert. Peter.

    My competition entry, love this pen the figuring has so many faces looking back at you. This is the first time I have turned a stabilised blank. Do they always smell so strong when working them? Got in trouble as I work in the garage and it is connected to the house, even with the garage door...
