    Anyone here a member of the AWGB? Is it worth the £18 membership? Typical of me, I ask the questions after joining, I'm a sucker for things that look like a bargain (November and December free) :rolling::rolling:

    I was coming to the end of a full day teaching yesterday when the wood fairy turned up with this. It's approx 10" diameter. It's a root burr from a Lleylandii, very common apparently but not seen so much as the roots are normally left in situ as they don't sucker and just rot away. Another...
