Took a break from gardening stuff and turned a little box from American Black Walnut. Finished with cellulose sander sealer and woodwax22. Now back to some more gardening including taking down a cherry tree yet more wood for the store.

Todays turning resulted in this nice little number. As i work for the Emergency Services and always taking the micky out of our water showering brother thought id make this tribute to them....

Evening all, the fountain pen has a Bock nib (fine) otherwise it's a normal kit. I prefer the metal to match up. The burr is from Linga Terra - otherwise known as Dave. Turning was a steady process of taking a bit off - filling in the holes - taking a bit more - filling in the holes - et al. But...

Again only just got round to taking photos of these !!

As some of you know I am off to Llandudno tomorrow for a few days so today I am taking my lovely Violet out and treating her then of to the pub for lunch I have two bags packed with goodies that we have made to take with me for them and am looking forward to spending a few days with these lovely...
