    wood allergies

    I have been reading a thread on the IAP forum entitled " Allergic reaction to wood " and there are some pretty horrific reactions to different species. This is new to me as I have not had any problem ( I won't say "touch wood " ! ) Is the problem more associated with exotic timbers ? Anyone...

    Lignum vitae

    This timber has been listed on the Cities restricted list like many timbers treated this way these days.It turns,belieing its reputation as the heaviest and hardest of timbers. My first pen of Lignum was a scrap from a Ships bearing supporting the drive shaft after forty years. Peter.

    Out in the tough country this timber was sourced. It is one of the worlds tough timbers with a lovely ripple through it. Peter.
