It is just after lunch time Saturday here and I just did a series of 21 pics in 10 minutes of how I obtain my pics and post them on forums. I took the pics hand wobbly held from behind the set up using camera and camera flash with the set up lights on. Apologies for the dust on the copier paper...
I posted something like this a few years ago.
There are many labels, decals, and photos cast into
blanks and they turn out some excellent pens.
Most times only the back of the pen or the seamless side is shown.
How about showing us what the seam in the graphic looks like.
Hi all
I was wondering what tools most pen turners used. I have a set of Axminster [

These are made from HSS and appear to work OK but don't seem to keep their edge
for long; especially when working with Acrylic. I have had to sharpen them so many times
now that they are...
Some Zeta Watch parts I spun up. Made these to flog but nobody wanted them so that meant when I needed stock, they were there, no matter because I'll earn 3 times as much anyway.

Afternoon,
Emerged out of the workshop after a few days toiling away, and with the help of some elves I'm showing just a few of the Omegas that I've made.
I wonder if those that know could share their process of choosing a metal coating to match the type of wood used. Some times I get it right...
Here's one that gives me a lot of work. 4 attempts before ending the cap, very hard to cut. Wood exploded three times while turning the blank down.
But i'm really satisfied how it came out.
This simulates you in the driver's seat of a car. You're driving down a road, when you see a big red hand flash in front of you. You have to put on the brakes. Then, the Reaction Time Test tells you how old you are, when it comes to driving.
The test is based on reaction times of 2,000 people...
I do quite a few markets in the local area mainly in the summer and I have now reduced winter to 2 from 10. Apart from the pens which form a major stock in trade I get asked for mainly what the French call 'La Vaisselle' which loosely translated into English means the 'washing up' .... Logical...
